3.2.2 Terrestrial Data Connections – 10/100 Ethernet (RJ-45)
The 10/100 BaseT Ethernet ports are standard 8-pin RJ-45 modular jacks. One port is labeled TRAFFIC,
and the other port is labeled M&C.
The TRAFFIC port is used for Ethernet traffic.The M&C port is used for management and firmware
updates via Telnet/HTTP/SNMP. The M&C port is available only when the Dedicated Management Port
is enabled. The Dedicated Management Port is disabled, by default.
