9.2.2.7.5 Diagnostics screen
CAUTION
Do not use the Dump Packets Diagnostics Utilities when the demodulator is on a live
network.
Go to the Diagnostics screen from the Operations and Maintenance screen.
The Dump Packet Utilities shows a hexadecimal representation of each packet. You must not use it when
the demodulator is on a live network.
Dump Packets received from Satellite Interface, keystroke: R
• Switches between [Yes] or [No].
• [Yes] causes the IP Module to dump a hexadecimal representation of each packet that it receives
from the Satellite Interface.
• [No] stops a packet dump in progress.
Dump Packets transmitted to Ethernet Interface, keystroke: U
• Switches between [Yes] or [No].
• [Yes] causes the IP Module to dump a hexadecimal representation of each packet that is
transmitted to the Ethernet Interface.
• [No] stops a packet dump in progress.
Dump Packets received from Ethernet Interface, keystroke: V
• Switches between [Yes] or [No].
• [Yes] causes the IP Module to dump a hexadecimal representation of each packet that it receives
from the Ethernet Interface.
• [No] stops a packet dump in progress.
