Carrier ID Products

• Carrier ID Embedder; MetaCarrier Embedding Device

(MCED)

Firmware or hardware version

– For legacy equipment, can be an external device that is

attached to the IF of the modulator or modem that is to be

identified, or,

– For newer equipment it can be firmware in the FPGA of the

modulator or modem

– The DVB version will work with all SCPC or video

modulators from Comtech or other manufacturers

carrier

– Used at a monitoring earth station
