Permanent

Connectivity

Indefinite connectivity could be required between sites due to a need for

continuous data transfer. A request for setting up a permanent circuit is entered

at the MIDAS Controller, and requires the MIDAS operator to specify the

participating traffic node and channel identification, and the desired grade of

service (data rate, transmit power level, modulation, and encoding scheme).
